  • Mole Checks

Moles, also known as nevi, are common skin growths that usually appear as small, dark brown spots. Moles form when melanocytes, the cells that produce pigment, grow in clusters or clumps. Sun exposure and genetic factors can influence the number and appearance of moles. Most people have between 10 and 40 moles, which can develop anywhere on the skin, including the scalp, armpits, under the nails, and between fingers and toes.

  • Skin Tag Removal

Skin tags, or acrochordons, are common, benign skin growths that typically appear in areas where skin rubs against itself or clothing. They are generally harmless but can be bothersome or undesirable for cosmetic reasons. They can appear on various parts of the body, including the neck, armpits, groin, eyelids, and under the breasts. While they are noncancerous, they can become irritated if they rub against clothing or jewelry.

  • Excision of Skin and Subcutaneous Tissue Lesions

Excision of skin lesions can be done in various ways, depending on the size and location of the lesion. These surgeries are performed under local anaesthesia.Common lesions of the skin and subcutaneous tissues such as moles, warts and skin tags can form in any part of the body such as head, neck, shoulders and back.

  • In Office Skin Cancer Excisions

The uncontrolled division of skin cells is called skin cancer. Skin cancer primarily occurs with the excessive exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun, and rarely from scars from disease or burns, or repeated exposure to X-ray and chemicals.

  • Mole Removal Surgery

Mole removal surgery is a surgical procedure to remove moles, which are usually benign skin growths composed of melanocytes (cells that produce pigment). Moles can appear anywhere on the body, usually in brown, black, or skin tone. While most moles are harmless, some individuals may choose to have them removed for cosmetic or medical reasons. A dermatologist can typically remove a mole during a routine office visit.

  • Cyst Excisions

Cysts are sac-like structures that contain fluid or semi-solid material. Sebaceous cysts are common benign (non-cancerous) growths on the skin that develop on the face, neck and trunk regions. Most are harmless, but you may choose to remove a cyst if it causes pain or for cosmetic reasons. Cyst excision is a simple and quick procedure.

  • Skin Cancer/Mole Checks

Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer. It can be classified as melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. The melanomic form is the more serious and potentially fatal skin cancer that begins in melanocytes (cells that give the skin its colour). The non-melanomic form of skin cancer occurs in cells that are located just below the outer layer of the skin. Unlike the melanomic form, this cancer does not spread to other parts of the body.
